NATO intelligence reports indicate Russia is actively building up its missile arsenal in preparation for fresh attacks against Ukraine, according to a senior Alliance official speaking at a ministerial meeting in Brussels.

Despite Russia's recent shift toward using drones more frequently, NATO believes the reduction in long-range missile strikes is a deliberate strategy to accumulate weapons for future mass attacks.

"The Russians have refined their drone tactics and are deploying them more effectively, reducing their immediate need for large missile strikes," the NATO official explained. "They appear to be using this period to build up supplies for concentrated attacks later."

Intelligence data suggests Russia maintains substantial domestic missile production while also acquiring additional weapons through partnerships with Iran and North Korea. The official noted that mass strikes, when conducted every few weeks, can have major military impacts and affect troop morale.

The pattern indicates Russia's tactical approach of spacing out large-scale attacks while steadily expanding its arsenal through both production and foreign procurement. NATO continues monitoring these developments as they may signal timing of potential future offensives.

The Alliance remains concerned about Russia's ongoing ability to sustain missile manufacturing despite international sanctions, as well as its success in securing additional weapons through foreign suppliers.
